Cwm v Boneymaen

Freak weather for Bryn Park - warm sunshine cloudless skies and no wind !! greeted local rivals Boneymaen to Bryn park and the visitors made the most of things running in 5 triess in an emphatic win against a disjointed Cwm side.

Cwm's back divison had an experimental look to it and Boney orchastrated by outside half Brooks ran in three early trys from deep which shatterd the Cwm defence.

Cwm clawed their way back with two Thomas penalties and sustained driving pressure which led to tries by A Carter and K Jones to make the score 18-19 to Boney at the break.

In the second half the Boney pack took control and a drop goal by Brooks and a long range penalty from half way by Williams extended the lead before Boney capitalized on Cwm's attempts to play catch up rugby by running in two late tries to take the bonus point and also shut Cwm out

A very good display of running rugby by Boney but a very disappointing first home performance by the Blues.

Final Score Cwm 18 - Bonymaen 40
